Ingram Mays was born in eastern Kentucky in 1925; the son of Isom Mays and Mary (Rader) Mays. His siblings were as follows:

Brothers – Johnny Freeman, Edward Sparks (Believe F.A.G. Memorial# 204286030)

Sisters – Elizabeth (Lizzie) Sparks Bowlin (F.A.G. Memorial# 158840211), Dorothy Bowlin (F.A.G. Memorial# 13252343), Retha Freeman Stone (F.A.G. Memorial#150261878), Parthena Freeman Perkins, Ollie Mays VanWinkle (F.A.G. Memorial# 146101219)

All the siblings appeared to have migrated to the Hamilton Ohio area.

During Ingram' time in the Hamilton area, Ingram may have been married at least once (unknown to this author)before meeting and marrying Malvery Hall. Also learned was that Ingram fathered at least four sons prior to this (approximately 1952) time named: James Curtis [mom - Gladys], Donald Ingram [mom - Gladys] (F.A.G. Memorial# 190853657), Barzell [mom - Mable] and Harold [mom - Dorothy].

After meeting and marrying Malvery, they moved to Indiana where Burt Adonis Mays was born. In the mid 1950's the two moved to Arcadia Florida where another son, Curt, was born.

Following his divorce of Malvery he moved to Mulberry, Florida and married Lois Kilgore. Ingram passed away at his home in Mulberry during 1987.
