My daddy was born and raised in Mississippi. He graduated from Mississippi college, where he played football. Then received a masters from Union Theological Seminary, and a PHD from Manito Springs Colorado. He founded the Calder Street Baptist Church from a tent revival, and worked in real estate. He and my mother Sudie Lee Pierce had three girls Patricia, Suzanne, and Lynda.
