Ephriam R. Hill, one of the county's best citizens died Saturday at his home near Deanwood. His remains were laid to rest at Mt. Zion Monday beside those of his wife who died several years ago. Mr. Hill was about 80 years of age. Mr. Hill's wife who was Miss Williams preceded him to the grave a third of a century ago, and he had since lived a widower looking after his children of whom there were seven, all living, namely Miss Eliza, who lived at home with her father, Cora, wife of Joseph L. Stewart of this city, Effie, wife of Henry Chandler, Myrtle, wife of Cass Cain, Miss Twinkle who assisted Miss Eliza with the housekeeping, Catherine, who was raised by her aunt, Mrs. J.L. Hughes, of Weston and who married Will Wynn and a son, George A. Hill.
