David WILLIAMSON III was born 16 Feb 1855 in Brown County, Illinois. He died 6 May 1918 in Buena Vista, Rushville, Schuyler County, Illinois and was buried 8 May 1918 in Rushville Cem, Rushville, Brown County, Illinois.

Obit - David Williamson [III], a well known resident of Rushville, died at his home in the southwest part of the city May 6, aged 63 years, 2 months and 21 days. Death followed an illness extending over a period of several weeks, and was not unexpected by his family and intimate friends.

Mr. Williamson was born in Brown county, February 16, 1855. He became a resident of Rushville in the year 1887, and that same year, April 9th, was united in marriage to Mrs. Elizabeth Coffman, who passed away December 23, 1908. To this union six children were born, three of whom died in infancy, Goldie May passing away August 14, 1914. The surviving children are: Mrs. Ethel Adams of Springfield and Charles Williamson of this city. He is also survived by the following step-chldren; Mrs. Adra Garrison of Meeker, Colo., Miss Pearl Coffman of Springfield, Fred Coffman of Macomb and Geo. Coffman of Woodstock township; also one sister, Mrs. Frank Bell of Rock Island and one brother Marion Williamson of Rushville and two grandchildren. He was a man of good character and his passing is mourned by his children, relatives and friends.

Funeral services, conducted by Rev. W. D. Humphrey of Waverly, were held Wednesday afternoon at his late residence. Internment in the Rushville cemetery. We wish to thank our many friends for their kindness and sympathy during the illness and death of our father/..The Children
