Mr. Bagley was associated with Bagley Builders Supply and Bagley Coal Co until 1958. He was also a farmer in UNion Towwnship and a sales representive of Mark Hybrid Seed Co prior to his retirement.
He was born April 14, 1909 in Starr, a son of John S and Josephine (Harbarger) Bagley.
Mr Bagley is survived by his widow, the former Helen M Bricker, whom he married Sept 8, 1931; three sons, Eugene of 928 Elm St, James of Sewickley, Pa., and Ronald Bagley of East Ridge Road; three daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Coleen) Etzler, Mrs. Larry ( Diane) Webb and Mrs. Paul Leslie (Jenell) Boroff, all of Rt. 3; five brothers, Ernest V of 213 Sout5h Ave, John V of 1182 E Ervin Road, Gern A of 1023 Elm St, Clyde S of Rt 2, and Forrest G Bagley of 775 Maplewood Drive; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Childers, Ft Wayne and Mrs Ada E Stemen of 118 E Maple Ave; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceeded in death by two brothers, Fenton L and William Bagley, and a sister, Margaret Bagley.
He was a member of Calvary Evangelical Church, where he served as Communion Stewart, president of the church trustees, and teacher for the Adventurers Sunday School Class. He had been a Sunday School treacher for 27 years. Mr. Bagley was also a member of the Farm Bureau Council and the Undenominational Tuesady Morning Prayer Fellowship.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Tuesday in the church with teh Rev. Howard W McCracken officaiting. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
