Joyce D. Teague, 83, of Morehead City, died Thursday, June 24, 2010, at home.

Her service is at 11 a.m. Saturday at Glad Tidings Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Tim Mariner officiating. Interment will follow at Bayview Cemetery.

She is survived by two daughters, Jenny Whitehurst of the home and Barbara Evans and husband Jim of Havelock; one brother, Charles "Punchie" Dosher and wife Tootsie of Lake Charles, La.; one sister, Doris DePeralta of Chesapeake, Va.; one sister-in-law, Frances Doshier; six grandchildren, Gina Weaver and husband Larry of Tallahassee, Fla., Mary Patton and husband Clark of Alexandria, Va., Amy Dorsey and husband Bill of New Bern, Karen Cayton of Morehead City, Kelly Blake of Summerville, S.C., and Julie Evans of Jacksonville; six great-grandchildren, Ashelyn Velez, Matthew Weaver, Kayla Blake, Allison Weaver, Joey Patton, Jessica Patton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Teague; one brother, John Doshier; one sister, Iva Camantigue; and parents, Samuel and Lena Dosher.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church.
