Mrs. Della M. McFarling, 93, rural Riverton, died at 3 p.m. yesterday at Maude Norton Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
Born Oct. 8, 1888, at Delmont, S. D., Mrs. McFarling had resided in the Columbus area for more than 80 years. She was a member of the Riverton Baptist Church and the Royal Neighbors.
She was married to Seymor McFarling on Oct. 8, 1905, at Columbus. He died Jan. 9, 1954.
Surviving are a son, Ivan McFarling, Galena route one; two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Soper and Mrs. Nellie Fee, both of Columbus; 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Derfelt Chapel, Galena. The Rev. Garland Bohn will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.

After grandpa developed rheumatoid arthritis, grandma went to work at the Barry Garment Factory in Columbus. She lived to be 93 years young and her mind was still sharp.
Following grandpa's death, grandma lived with her son Ivan and his wife, Lucy.
Children: Fred Richard, 1906-1966; Nellie Marie, 1908-1993; Ivan Lester, 1910-2000 and Thelma May, 1913-2009.
