Mrs. John Mabry Rites Are Held At Local Church
Funeral services for Mrs. John K. Mabry, Hydro, were held Sunday, January 13, in the Carnegie First Baptist church, Rev. Bill Thomas, pastor of the First Baptist church at Hydro, officiating. Burial was in the Carnegie cemetery.
Mrs. Mabry, former Carnegie resident, died at her home in Hydro early Friday morning after having been ill for three years. She was born in White County, Tennessee, February 1, 1871. She was married to John K. Mabry February 4, 1890, at Sparta, Tennessee and moved to Oklahoma with her family in 1908. She had lived most of the time at Carnegie until three years ago when she moved to Hydro. They had ten children. Two daughters, Lillie Andra Bea and Retha Belle, preceded her in death at an early age. She became a Christian and was baptized while in her early twenties.
Survivors include the husband of the home; eight children, Mrs. Annie Dilling, Las Cruces, N.M.; Mrs. Lizzie Pense, San Pablo, Calif.; Ernest Mabry, Hydro; William Mabry, Carnegie; Mrs. Hattie Mabry, Brownfield, Tex.; Claude Mabry, Tulia, Tex.; Heston Mabry, Chickasha; and Horace Mabry, La Habra, Calif.; 31 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were six of he grandsons, Marshall pence, Houston; Lonnie Drewery, Brownfield, Tex.; Danny Drewery, Oklahoma City; and Donald, Jesse and Johnny Mabry, Carnegie.

She was the daughter of Gilbert Randolph 1837-1900 in Putman Co. TN and Susan Bumbalough born 1839 and died in 1884 in Putman County TN.
Marys name was Mary Tennessee Randolph before she married John Mabry-the name in TN was Mayberry
John's sister Mary Mayberry married Samuel Frank Randolph Mary Tennessee Randolph's brother.
