Funeral services for Roy James Lucas, 67, of Carnegie, were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, January 6, at the First Baptist church with Rev. Les McNair, pastor, officiating.
Lucas died of an apparent heart attack Saturday at the Carnegie hospital. He was born April 14, 1907.
Burial was in the Carnegie cemetery under the direction of Pitcher Funeral Home.
Lucas was striken a short time after loading a truck that was moving him and his wife to a new home on West Birch.
Survivors include his wife, Genevive, of the home; two sons, James Roy of Oklahoma City, and Julius, Whitefield, Okla.; four daughters, Mrs. Anna Lois McCown of Canute, Okla., Mrs. Bertie Alverson, Whitefield, Mrs. Oletha Tohee, Shawnee; and Mrs. Kathy Walters of Fort Cobb; three brothers, Emmitt of Dougherty, Okla.; John of Chouchilae, Calif., and George of Carnegie; two sisters, Rachell Henson of Eloy, Ariz.; and Vinnie Donahoo of Shafter, Calif.; and 20 grandchildren.
