Rites will be conducted by Rev. Norman B. Henderson and Rev. George G. Brewster, Center Lodge No. 465 of the Masonic Order will be in charge of the graveside in Belmont Memorial Park.
Besides his widow, Mrs. Emma G. Hoeppner of Fresno, he leaves two sons, Edgar P. and Clifford A. Hoeppner, and a daughter, Mrs. Marian Davidson, all of Los Angeles. He was the grandfather of Clifford Scott Hoeppner of Los Angeles and brother of Frank C. Hoeppner of Phoenix, Arizona; Mrs. Nellie Kennell and Mrs. Annie Bussie of Colfax, Wash.; Mrs. Matilda Kennell of Los Angeles and Mrs. Josephine Woods of Terra Pata, Peru.
Heoppner was born in Belleview [sic], Iowa. He was a member of George Washington Lodge No. 9 of the Masonic order in St. Louis, Missouri, where he formerly lived and of the Albert Pike Consistory, Scottish Rite and Al Amin Temple of the Shrine, Masonic organization of Little Rock Arkansas.
He was graduated from the University of Iowa in 1886 and was connected with the law and claims department of the Missouri Pacific Railroad for eighteen years. In 1915 he moved to Los Angeles where he remained until he came to Fresno in 1921.
