OBITUARY: Milwaukee Journal Feb 9, 1945 "MUENCH, BARBARA (nee Lauer) of 2659 N 22nd St. passed awy Thurs. Feb. 8 at the age 66 years beloved wife of Joseph, mother of Florian G., Leona,
Jerome, Marie Margaret and Joseph H. special artificer (sic) instruments. 2d class U.S.N. Also survied by 3 sisters, 3 brothers, 2 daughters-in-law, 2 grandchildren. Funeral St. Leo's church at 8:30 a.m. Interment Holy Cross cemetery. Member of the Christian Mothers, Blue Star Mothers and w. C. O. F. Court No. 648 of St. Leo's. Christian MOthers' and Blue Star MOthers' vigil at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Remains in state Fri. after 4 p.m."
