Marguerite graduated from Cony High School in Augusta then attended Thomas College in Waterville. On August 28, 1941 she and Charles Dana Perkins married in Augusta, Maine. Together they raised three daughters, Marsha Elaine, Cheryl Bonnie, and Debra Ann.
She had worked as a medical secretary for several area doctors and dentists. Marguerite was a member of the Augusta Nature Club and the American Legion Post 205 Auxiliary.
She had a love for animals, and a special place in her heart for her little Chihuahua, Missy. Marguerite enjoyed time spent with family and friends, the outdoors, working in her gardens, feeding the birds, and visits to Boothbay for whale watching trips.
No words to express how much she is loved and missed by family and friends.
