Gertrude (Trudy) Johnson Manzi, died, in West Palm Beach, FL, Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at the age of 91.

Gertrude was a former resident of Seabrook Beach, NH and of Palm Beach Shores, FL. For the past 4 years, she resided at Mangrove Bay in Jupiter, FL where she enjoyed an active lifestyle with many friends and staff. Her best memories were of her nephews and nieces and grandnieces visits to Florida during the winter months.

Gertrude was the daughter of Stephen and Susan Hay, born and raised in North Andover, MA and was a graduate of Johnson High School. She was a member of Abenaqui Country Club in Rye, NH for many years, and also enjoyed playing golf in Florida. She accomplished three Holes-in-One at the Jupiter Dunes Golf Club in Florida. Trudy also enjoyed snow skiing and boating with family and friends for many years. She was a former communicant of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church in Hampton, NH, and volunteered with the Red Cross as well as with hospitals in the Merrimack Valley.

Gertrude was the widow of the late Harry L. Manzi,former president of MANZI DODGE AUTO SALES in Lawrence, MA. She is survived by her nephews Thomas Manzi and his wife Suzanne of Seabrook, NH, Harry Manzi of Hampton, NH, and two nieces, Carole Buckley of Seabrook, NH and Judith Vivenzio and her husband Raymond, of North Andover, MA.

There will be a private family service held at Ridgewood Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass at Our Lady of The Miraculous Medal, 289 Lafayette Road, Hampton, NH on July 26th at 9 AM. Memorial donations in Gertrude's memory may be made to the Hospice of Palm Beach County Foundation, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407 or The Yorkie Friends Rescue Corporation, Attn: Nancy Doherty, 3060 N.
