Jean M. (Moore) Addlesberger 80, a resident of Cornell Hall, Union, NJ and formerly of Greencastle, died at 9:20 A. M. Tuesday, Oct 8, 2002, in the nursing home.
Born Sept 21, 1922, in Northwich, England, she was the daughter of the late Frank E. and Margaret E. (Williams) Moore. She lived her early life in England.
She and her husband, Merle E. Addlesberger, were married Oct 25, 1947. They lived in Waynesboro, Michigan and Washington, D. C., prior to moving to Greencastle in 1982
Mr. Addlesberger died Nov 24, 1995. Mrs. Addlesberger moved to Union in July 1999 and entered the nursing home Aug 15, 2002.
Mrs. Addlesberger was employed at Stanley Co., Chambersburg. While living in Washington, she was resident manager of an apartment building.
She was a member of Refuge Tabernacle, Waynesboro.
She was a member of the National AARP.
Mrs. Addlesberger is survived by one sister, Rona O'Shea of Union and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Frank Moore.
Services will be held at 10 A. M. Saturday in Grove Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro, with the Rev. Norman LePage officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Quincy.
The family will recieve friends from 6:30 to 8:30 P. M. Friday in the funeral home.
