Millard Guhl Maddox was born Tuesday, June 22, 1920 to Warren Candler Maddox and Willie Earlene Hazelip Maddox.

Funeral for Guhl Maddox, 68, of Decatur will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Brown Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Mason officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mr. Maddox died Sunday at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Murfreesboro Tenn. it was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

He is survived by two daughters, Sandra Maddox Herron of Lewisburg, Tenn. and Paulette Maddox French of Dixon, Tenn.; one sister, Juanita Maddox Roberts of Hartselle; and three grandchildren.
