Linnie Caffall, age 99, of Bandera, passed away Friday, August 1, 2008 in a Bandera Care Center.

She was born on August 20, 1908, in Caddo Mills to Albert Sidney and Nellie Smith Jeffery.

On August 18, 1928, she married Ephraim Leslie Caffall in Corpus Christi.

Linnie was a well-know beautician in Bandera for many years, and an active and faithful member of Bandera United Methodist Church. She was also very active in the Bandera Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, where she served as worthy matron.
Linnie also helped raise many children in the area.

Survivors include nieces Ann Moncus and her husband, Gary, of Harlingen; Kay Herrera and her husband, James, of Los Fresnos; Lynda Ball and her husband, Don, of Bandera; Karen Zickler and her husband, Russell, of Bandera; Debra Goode and her husband, Keith, of Boerne; Janna Hawes and her husband, Leslie, of Raymondville; and Marta Rose of San Antonio; nephews David Jeffery and his wife, Sam, of Bandera; Phil Jeffery and his wife, Anita, of Bandera; Rob Sandidge and his wife, Roxy, of Tarpley; and Dan Sandidge and his wife, Ella, of Tarpley.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at the Bandera United Methodist Church in Bandera with Reverend Everett Boyce and Reverend Bob Scott officiating. Interment followed at Bandera Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be made to the Bandera United Methodist Church.
