She was preceded in death by her mother, Georgia G. Johnson.
Surviving are four children, Charles Johnson, Derek Taylor, Dillon and Jessica Dickerson; father, Edward Johnson; two sisters, Sharon J. Scales and Janet Johnson; two brothers, Benjamin R. and Carroll F. Sample; one uncle, David Johnson; seven nieces and nephews, one devoted, Kristy Scales; cousins, one devoted, Jeannette Johnson, other relatives and friends.
Remains rested at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. where the family received, friends Friday, June 4.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 5 at Fifth Street Baptist Church, 2800 Third Avenue. Rev. F. Todd Gray officiating.
Interment Roselawn Memory Gardens.
