OBIT: Frances H. Ham, 81, a lifelong resident of Waterman, IL passed away on Monday, April 30, 2001 at the Valley West Community Hospital in Sandwich. She was born on April 21, 1920 in Waterman, the daughter of Franklin Jesse and Gladys (Kopp) Huey. Frances was united in marriage on October 30, 1942 in Waterman to Mr. Albert Letton Ham. They then spent the next 45 happy years of their lives together until his passing on November 29, 1987. Frances was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, step-grandmother and great grandmother, who will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. Mrs. Ham was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Waterman, where she was very involved in many of the church's organizations. Frances was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was employed for many years as a Sales Clerk at Larsen's Hardware in Waterman. She is survived by her son, Allen Ham of Waterman; her daughter, Roberta (Rick) Cutler of Dixon, IL; her grandson, Jamie (Michelle) Denton of Dixon, IL; her granddaughter, Katie Cutler of Dixon, IL; her two step-granddaughters, Cari (Chuck) Magana of Sterling, IL and Teri (Jeremy) Genz of Dixon, IL and her four great grandchildren, Andrew and Justin Magana and Jacob and Natalie Denton. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Albert L. Ham. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2001 at the Presbyterian Church of Waterman. 250 N. Cedar St., Waterman with Pastor Scott Merchant officiating. Interment will follow in the Johnson Grove Cemetery in Waterman. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2001 at the Nash-Nelson Memorial Chapel. 116 N. Birch St., Waterman. Arrangements by Nelson Funeral Homes. Philip S.
