COLUMBIA — Last rites for Ruffin E. Kirkland, 82, who died in a Pineville hospital Monday night following an illness of two months, were scheduled to be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Pentecostal Church of Grayson with the Rev. John Williams officiating.
Interment was scheduled in Mount Rose Cemetery under direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia.
Mr. Kirkland was a resident of Columbia.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lillie Kirkland; three daughters, Mrs. Annie Mae Thompson, Mrs. Roberta Price, both of Grayson; Mrs. Bernice Harris, Greenville, Miss.; a son, Sgt. R. B. Kirkland, Tubia Canyon, Calif.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
