Margaret Olive Allshouse, 79, RD 1, Avonmore, Kiski Twp., died Friday, Oct. 14, 1983, at 1:10 a.m. at her home after a lingering illness. She was born Sept. 2, 1904, in Kiski Twp. and was a life-long resident of the township. She
was the daughter of Simon B. and Olive Ringer Allshouse.

She was a retired school teacher. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Apollo; a church elder and a past secretary of her church consistory; a member of the Eastern Star, Saltsburg Chapter No. 286; the Womens Club of Kiskiminetas Valley, Apollo; and the Garden Club of Apollo.

She is survived by one brother, Oscar C. Allshouse, Kiski Twp.; a sister-in-law; six nieces and nephews; 24 grand-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by hear parents and three brothers, Arthur, Charles, and Merle.

Friends will be received in the Daniel J. Yockey Funeral Home, Avonmore, from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday. There will be no viewing on Sunday.

Services were conducted Sunday Oct. 16, in the First United Church of Christ, Apollo, by her pastor, the Rev. Sterling A. Schnell. Burial followed in South Bend Cemetery, South Bend Twp.
