Ardmore, OK — Funeral services for Alma Inez Argo, 98, will be Friday, June 25, 2010, at 2 p.m., in the Emmanuel Baptist Church conducted by Reverend Donny Custar and Reverend Kevin Russell. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

She was born to Charlie Johnson and Euga Jones Johnson on December 13, 1911, at Leo, Texas.

She and Raymond F. Argo were married April 14, 1928, at Sherman, Texas. They moved to Ardmore in 1929 from Gainesville, Texas. Raymond died January 22, 1992.

A homemaker, Mrs. Argo was a member of Landmark Baptist Church and for the past few years the Emmanuel Baptist Church. She loved being a grandmother and enjoyed crocheting and word search puzzles. She died June 22, 2010, at Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Survivors include a son, Raymond Argo Jr. and his wife, Doris of Oklahoma City; daughters, Sue Puckett and Kay Reed of Ardmore; her daughter-in-law, Barbara Argo of Ardmore; 18 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren, 35 great-great-grandchildren and two great-great-great-grandchildren.

Her parents; husband, Raymond; a son, Charles Argo; a daughter, Inez Curless; and a sister, Eunice Nelson preceded her in death.

Serving as bearers will be Toby, Robert and Laramie Keeton, Eric Burkhart, Timothy Byrd and Eric Curliss.
