Joshua Leon Shippley, 52, died early Friday morning at his home, 115 Jefferson Street, two hours after suffering a stroke.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Shipley; three sons, Val, Martin and Robert of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Florence Goodlive, Roseville Route 2, Mrs. Norma Yarger of Shawnee and Nancy of the home; one brother, Jonah of Roseville; four sisters, Mrs. May Cummings, Mrs. Minnie Yarnell of Newark, Mrs. Norma Lewis of Newark, Mrs. Clarence Pride of Zanesville and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday at the family home, with Rev. H. H. Wilbur, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be made in the Rehoboth cemetery by the C. L. Chute Co.
