Mrs. W.A. Knight, 59, 613 California, died at 3:44 a.m. today in the North Plains Hospital following a lingering illness.
She had been a resident of Borger for three years, coming here from Clarendon. She was a member of the Tenth Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, W.A. Knight; two sons, Johnnie, Denison, Tex., and Earl L. stationed with the Air Force at Ft. Worth; three daughters, Mrs. Bruce Oedewaldt, Mapleton, Ill., Mrs. Charles Chelf and Mrs. Kenneth Bell, both of Borger, three brothers, William and Martin Bowers, both of Glendale, Tex., and Bennie Bowers, who is in the Air Force; four sisters, Mrs. Reta Jeffus, Mrs. Bama Prater, Mrs. Wylie Malory and Mrs. Mary Brown, all of Tyler; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Lesley Baptist Church Community, south of Clarendon with the Rev. Hal Upchurch, pastor of the Central Baptist Church of Pampa, officiating.
Interment will be made in the Clarendon cemetery under the direction of the Minton Funeral Home.
Casketbearers will be Paul Dudley Adams, Ray Adams John Hatley, J.W. Hatley, Jr., W.C. Ragan and Capp Byars.
