Still Buried - Testimony in Inquest Will Begin This Afternoon
Coroner Egan will begin today his investigation into the causes of the accident at the Minnie Healy mine, by which five men were killed on Thursday Afternoon. Only four of the bodies have been recovered, but the inquest will be held over all five.
At a late hour it was reported from the mine that the recovery of the body of Isaac Abraham, the last of the five, is still uncertain as to time. The rescuers are working as fast as possible with safety, but have not yet been rewarded even by seeing the body.
The inquest will be held at Sherman and Reed's and will begin at 2:oo.
