Mrs. Zua Wells, wife of Thomas Wells, died of cerebral hemorrhage in her home on the Dellroy-New Harrisburg road at 6:30 p.m., Saturday. Funeral services were held in the Dellroy Methodist Church at 2 p.m., Tuesday and were in charge of the pastor, Rev. W. L. Couts. Burial was made in Moultrie Cemetery by the side of her parents.
The deceased was a daughter of Alpheus and Anna Kelley and was born near North Georgetown, January 12, 1878. On October 25, 1900, she was married to T. W. Wells, who survives, together with the following children born to them; William D. of Magnolia, Charles G., Howard K., Morris J. and Erma D. of the home; surviving also are the following brothers and sisters; Ora Biggins of Minerva, Elizabeth Walters and Ruth Kohler of Akron, Mary Hoobler of Magnolia, Bertha Jones of Dellroy and Calvin A. Kelley of Haxtun, Colorado, and a grandchild, Lorene Wells of Magnolia. Her parents having died when the children were quite young, they were reared by their aunt, Mrs. Elizabeth Albright. Mrs. Wells was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church since childhood.
