Mr. Charles William Adams, age 63, of Blairsville, Georgia, passed away Friday, September 18, 1998 in Murrayville, GA.  Mr. Adams was born Thursday, April 11, 1935, a son of the late Wesley Alex Adams and Nannie Plott Adams.  He was of Baptist Faith.  Mr. Adams had been preceded in death by his father, Wesley Alex Adams; a sister, Margie Belle Adams and a brother, Clarence R. Adams.
            Survivors include his mother, Nannie Plott Adams, of Blairsville; a sister, Clara Adams Hedrick, of Robbinsville, NC; two nieces, Gail Ann Adams Cantrell, of Murrayville; and Charlotte Diane Adams Donaldson, of Tennessee; nephew, Adam Shane Hedrick, of Robbinsville; and a great nephew, Rocky Holbrooks of Blairsville; a host of friends and other relatives also survive.
Memorial services were held Monday, September 21, 1998 at 6:30 p.m. from the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville with Rev. Thomas Freeman Cantrell and Rev. Ray Potts officiating.  Special music was presented by Rev. Blair Stewart.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Towns/Union Humane Society.
