Ida Mae Anderson, 91, formerly of Allen, Mich., and Fairfield, passed away Friday, June 18, 2010 at Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility in Hillsdale, Mich.

Mrs. Anderson was born August 8, 1918, in Elm River Township in Wayne County, the daughter of Albert Joseph and Ethel V. (Markhan) Lambrich.

In addition to being a homemaker, she had driven a taxicab and worked in area factories. She attended Allen Baptist Church, had been a member of Northside Baptist Church in Fairield, and taught Vacation Bible and Sunday Schools. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and Bible study.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by her daughter, Eleanor (Walter) Coan.; sister, Viola Mitchell; brothers, Wesley (Bud) Lambrich, and Carroll Lambrich, and Dean (Dorothy) Lambrich; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Joseph and Ethel V. Lambrich; four sisters; four brothers; one son; one daughter in infancy; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation was at George White Funeral Home in Reading, Mich.

Services were held at the funeral home with Reverend Alan Fenstermaker officiating.

Interment was at Old German Cemetery in Cisne.
