Henry Kaulaity Funeral Services Are Held Sunday
Henry Kaulaity, well-known Kiowa Indian of the Carnegie community, was found dead about 1:30 Thursday afternoon a mile east and three-fourths of a mile south of Carnegie.
Kaulaity, 65, who had lived many years on a farm four miles south and a mile east of town was found lying face down by the side of the road by Clyde and Barney Pitcher, who were on their way to the Carnegie cemetery. County officers were notified. Assistant County Attorney, John Buzbee, justice of the peace, Troy Massey and undersheriff, Clyde Blakely investigated the death. They reported no evidence of foul play.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist church with Rev. Warren of Lawton officiating. Burial was in the Carnegie cemetery.
Kaulaity was the father of 14 children. One son, Louis, preceded him in death.
