Mrs. Conover is survived by five daughters, Evalena England and her husband Carlos of Louisville, Miladean Cox of Edinburgh, Indiana, Donetta Campbell and her husband Donald, Glenda Sue Hoover, and Mary Ann Collins, all of Columbia; one son, Herman Ray Conover and his wife Betty of Columbia; nine grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons-in-law, Dencil Hoover in August 1995 and Eddie Cox on April 16, 2000. Mrs. Conover was a member of the Oak Grove Church of God of Prophecy.
Funeral service was Saturday, August 5, 2000, at 10:00 a.m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Richards officiating. Interment in Conover Cemetery. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangements. Pallbearers were Chad Collins, Michael Collins, Dwayne Cox, Chris Conover, Curt Burton, Jeff Burton, Chuck Coomer, and Barry Bardin.
