Born 1793-1798. Daughter of John Lowrey and Lucy Benge. Married Andrew J. Ross on June 24, 1819.∼MEMO: Susan Lowrey Ross. This headstone and data were "observed & described" circa 1969 per James W. Tyner, (Vol.I, publ.1969) identified as at the "Ross Cemetery, Sec 27, R20E T20N" in Mayes County; Tyner describes this burial ground as "abandoned", with unknown burials & only one(1) other stone observed, as he records-for "C.C. Ross". dates "Died Nov, 13, 1894 aged 30 years". His description of "open meadow" for this burial ground w/the two stones implies that he was not at the Ross Family burial grounds -as he recorded-,which had a number of old stones and a sandstone wall around the original property.

Oct. 2, 2010: The cemetery has been searched and there doesn't appear to be a headstone for her.
