Roscoe Allen was born, February 7, 1936, in Nachitoches, La. to M.L. and Effie (Christie) Allen. He entered into rest Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at Memorial Hospital in Nacogdoches, Texas.
He was a truck driver for Pipeline and Oil Field Contruction and was a member of Coldwater Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Rachel Allen of Chireno; sons: Roscoe (Bugger Red) Allen of Chireno, Brad Allen and wife Sheila of Chireno, Doug Allen of Willis, Wayne Roy of Colorado; daughters: Tina Hibbett and husband Windell of Fort Worth, Jeannie Roy and husband Paul of Missouri; brothers: Lynn Allen of Shreveport, La., Kenneth Allen of Winfield, La., Bobby Allen of Winfield, La.; grandchildren: Kristine Allen, DeKota Allen, Serria Allen, Chyanne Allen, Dylan Chiasson, Ginger Fowler and husband Daniel, Constance Beneditti and husband Craig, Courtney Thornton, Candice Catino, Tony Perez and wife Ashley, Melanie Allen, Mavrick Roy, Tyler Roy, Zachary Roy; great-grandchildren: Taya Fowler, Keeley Fowler, Dylan Fowler, Dominik Benedetti, Raeleigh Thornton, Austin Perez, Aja Perez, Ayden Doss.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, June 19, 2010 in Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel at 10:00 A.M. wit Bro. Skipper Eberlan officiating. Burial will follow in Attoyac Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Lout, Myron Lacy, Bubba Cleveland, Tom White, James White, Bill White. Honorary Pallbearers are Morgan Burrows, Dink Peveto, Royce Wall, Jackie Mitchell, Tommy McElee, Sammy Harrington, Frank Burrows.
