Death of Mrs. Royal Daniel:
Died, at her home on Canyon Creek, April 2, 1897, Mrs. Irene Daniel, wife of Royal P. Daniel, a native of Clay county, Mo., aged 42 years. Mr. and Mrs. Daniel were married in Missouri in 1873, and that summer came to Idaho, since which time they have resided in this section. Mrs. Daniel leaves a kind and loving husband and two devoted children whose grief at her death is indescribable, besides a large number of relatives and friends in this vicinity to mourn her absence. She was a lady noted for her great goodness of heart and many other virtues and her loss particularly to her husband and children, is irreparable.
The funeral took place Saturday afternoon at Marion Daniel's ranch, where her remains were interred in the family burying ground--Rev. A.S. Hawkes conducting the services.Considering the condition of the roads and the inclement weather, the funeral was largely attended by friends from Mountain Home and the surrounding country.

There's a beautiful region above the skies
And I long to reach its shore.
For I know I shall find my treasure there
The loved one gone before.
