Interment followed in the Union Church Cemetery with the Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville in charge.
Surviving Mr. Brownell are his wife, Fannie Lou Brownell; three daughters, Mrs. J. B. Watts, Tallulah, Mrs. Evelyn Carter, Delhi, Mrs. Willis Russell, Leesville; three sons, Harvey Claude and Horace Brownell, all of Waverly; two brothers, Cape Brownell and Dave Brownell, both of Baskin; two sisters, Mrs. Flossie Johnson, Delhi, and Mrs. Tilden Coats of Winnsboro.
