A graduate of St. James School of Nursing in Butte, Montana, she was a proud and dedicated nurse for over forty years.
Mary was a resident of Vallejo for sixty years and was preceded in death by her husband, George P. Greene Sr. Mary was the Mother of Rev. John L. Greene, Chaplain SFFD and George P. Greene Jr. (Nancy) of Vacaville. Mary dearly loved her two grandchildren, Courtney and Christopher Greene. Mary is survived by her loving sister and brother-in-law Patricia and Don Mehring of Helena, Montana, brother Robert of Clancy, Montana, and sister-in-law Wilma McEachern and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Dan and Jack.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Monica's Church, Twenty-Third Avenue and Geary, San Francisco.
Private burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma.
