Addie and G.C. lived in the Rio Grande Valley for over 40 years before moving to Lubbock. While living in the Rio Grande Valley, Addie owned and operated with her husband G.C. Jones Auto Sales for over 20 years. She was an active notary and helped G.C. operate the business. They were also an independent contractor for Freedom Newspapers for more than 20 years.
Addie is survived by her children, Charlie Ann Rowten and husband Bob of Lubbock and Bobby Ross Jones of Austin; and grandchildren, Chris Rowten of Lubbock, Laura Rowten of Dallas and Brooke Rowten of Lubbock.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Danny Joe Jones; parents; and a sister, Bobby Jo Scoggin.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Sanders Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
