Shane died unexpectantly in a car accident while out riding w/ one of his good friends Matt Benoit who survived shortly after 3:30am. He was flown to UMASS with severe head and chest injuries but unfortunately did not make it. Shane was working as a cook at Merlyn's Restaurant in Canterbury. He attended local schools in Norwich and was active in the Norwich Little League as a boy. His is survived by his mother, Margaret (Prue) Holliday of Hanover and his father, Melvin Holliday of Honduras.
Funeral and Burial services were private and I'm not certain of the name of the cemetery. Guillot Funeral Home in Taftville was in charge of the arrangements.
