Edgerton - Allen E. Peters, age 88, of 509 E. Fulton St, Edgerton, died Friday, Dec. 19, 2003, at the Memorial Community Hospital in Edgerton. He was born on July 12, 1915, in Edgerton, WI, son of Harold and Elsie (Dallman) Peters Sr.. He married Loretta Ruosch on Feb. 14, 1938, in St. John Lutheran Church, Edgerton. Allen worked as a butcher for Peters Meat Market. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. He worked for Harold's Garden Farm in Edgerton.
Allen is survived by his wife, Loretta of Edgerton; a brother, Wayne Peters of Arizona; a sister, Ethel Johnson of Indiana; and a nephew, Ed (Marge) Hartzell of Edgerton. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Harold Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, 2003, at the Albrecht Funeral Home, Edgerton, with Pastor Carl Seeger officiating. Burial will be in the Fassett Cemetery. Friends may call from from 11 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
