Huldah TABER DAVIS, 88, Culver, died at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the St. Joseph Medical Center, South Bend, after a five-week illness.

She was born Aug.6, 1893 in Culver to Dr. B.W.S. and Roseline BUSWELL WISEMAN and was a lifetime resident of the Culver and Leiters Ford areas. Her first marriage was in 1916 to Frank TABER; he died in 1941. She married Bert DAVIS in 1945; he died in 1964. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, Culver, and was a charter member of the Emily Jane Culver Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. N.M. (Jane) SCRUGGS, with whom Mrs. Davis made her home, and Mrs. Ralph (Frances) GEISELMAN, Culver; a son, William W. TABER, Culver; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three step-daughters, Mrs. Howard (Donna) COLEMAN, Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Edward (Eva) LEBO, Leiters Ford, and Mrs. Donald (Ruth) AUTREY, LaPorte; a step-son, Dale DAVIS, Phoenix, Ariz., and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Three sisters and three brothers preceded in death.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Wesley United Methodist Church, North School Street, Culver, with the Rev. Donald BOWMAN officiating. Burial will be in the Culver Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Bonine Funeral Home from 2 p.m. Friday until noon on Saturday and at the church one hour prior to the services. Memorials may be made to the Wesley United Methodist Church. The Emily Jane Chapter of the O.E.S. will conduct memorial services at 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
