Benjamin fathered 26 Children. He married his first wife, Prudence Spivey, on June 7th, 1877. Prudence died due to complications during the birth of her sixth child, Albert. Benjamin married Narcissus Faircloth on March 8th, 1887 and fathered sixteen more children with her. Benjamin married Naomi Hewitt on November 6th, 1923, and fathered four more children.'
