LaVeta was born in Kingman, KS on January 14, 1919.

She graduated as a nurse from Welsey Hospital in Oklahoma City and retired from Blue Cross/Blue Shield several years ago.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Harry E. Craig.
