FORMER PARKE CO. LADY DIES SUNDAY
Mrs. Josephine M. Hazlett of Lafayette, age 92, formerly of Parke Co, died at 2 p.m. Sunday.
She was born April 15, 1867, the daughter of John W. and Mary Nutgrass Alexander. She was a member of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Chester of Turner Falls, Mass., and Claude of Los Altos, CA; htree daughters, Mrs. Zora Tolley of ALexandria, VA, Mr.s Georgia o'Leary of Lafayette & Mrs. Carrie McLeod of Indianapolis; three sisters, Mrs. Jettie Lear, Mrs. Sarah Bonner & Mrs. Nellie Presnell of Rockville; 11 grandchildren & 15 great-grandchildren.
Rites were conducted at the Barnes Mortuary at 10 a.m. Wed morning with burial in Cecedar Cemetery.
