Crystal Dawn Breen,three year old daughter of Randolph M. and Mary Jarvis Breen of 899 Grayson Ave.,was pronounced dead on arrival at Waynesboro Community Hospital early Sunday morning.
The child spent the night at the home of her maternal grandmother,Mrs. Mary A.Jarvis of Fishersville.
Dr.John W.Forbes III,Augusta County medical examiner,has ordered an autopsy by the State Medical Examiner in Roanoke.Dr.Forbes gave the probable cause of death as barbiturate intoxication.
The child was born in Waynesboro on March 27,1965.
In addition to her parents,she was survived by one brother,John M.Breen,at home;paternal grandparents,Mrs.and John A.Breen of Waynesboro;paternal great-grandfather Ralph Sonsossio of Natick Mass.., maternal grandparents,John M Jarvis of Waynesboro and Mrs.Jarvis of Fishersville;maternal great-grandparents,Mr.Mrs.James E.Fisher of Waynesboro and Mrs.Ida C. Jarvis of Buena Vista.
The body will remain at the Etter Funeral Home until the hour of the service.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Glen Kirk Presbyterian Church,conducted by the Re. James R.Black.Burial will be in the church cemetery.
