Eva was born in Frederick Oklahoma to William Luther Russell and Katherine (Kate) Ross Russell. Her mother died of influenza when she was just a child. Her father remarried and she was raised by her step mother, Willie D. (Morton) Russell. Eva married Arlie William Morrison(1914-1974) and has one daughter, Donna K Morrison born in 1935.
