OaklandCharles was born in Portage, Livingston, New York. He studied Medicine and graduated from Ohio State University Medical School, Hemeopathic Hospital College, Cleveland, Ohio on Feb. 28, 1883.Taught Anatomy at Ohio State University. Practiced in Whitehall, Michigan until March 1, 1884 when he moved to Sac City, Sac, Iowa. In 1882 he married Lily B. Ruggles in Whitehead, Michigan. Came to Wall Lake, Iowa, got homesick went back to Michigan, but not long afterwards he located in Sac City, Iowa in 1884. Member of State Board of Examiners; President of Board of Health. Directory and Vice President of 1st Nat'l Bank Sac City, Iowa.
In 1904 he spent the winter in Goodwin, Arizona, leaving his home on Christmas Day, where he had mining interest. He was expected to spend time in Arizona and in California.
October 23 1924 Dr. Chas B. Adams at close of his career after 40 Years in Service in Sac County, Pioneer Physican is at Rest.
Death Follow Brief Illness at His home in Sac. City....Funeral is held this afternoon...Was 65 Years of age.
Burial Oakland Cemetery Sac City, Sac, Iowa. Lot#204 Block 5.
