George was the son of Jeremiah Middleton Marr Kerbo and wife Susannah Sullenger. He had a brother Thomas and a sister,Laura. On Oct.22,1890 when he was 25 He married Martha Jane Carter Who was the daghter of William Benjamin Carter and Artemissia Thompson. The couple had 6 children. When his son William Henry kerbo died of Hodgkin's disease,George helped raise his daughter. George was a farmer living in Corder's Cross Roads which is in lincoln County Tennessee. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He died at home with a heart disease and was buried in Kelso cemetery.
