MARION. Ky, Funeral services for Barney F. Gass, 62, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Marlon Baptist Church with the Rev. 8. R. Beaty officiating. Burial will be in Mapleview Cemetery. Mr. Gass, a former chief of police here, died at 1 a.m. Sunday at his home following a heart attack. He was a member of the Marlon Baptist Church and was employed by Ellis Trucking Co.


Survivors Include his widow, Mrs. Callie Gass, two sons, Blaine and Jimmy Gass, Marlon; two daughters, Miss Jo Ann Gass, Marion, and Miss Clara Jane Gass, Baltimore; two brothers, Earl Gass, Marion, and Henry Gass, Evansville; four sisters, Mrs. Ruby Manley, Uniontown; Mrs. Maggie Hunt, Mrs. Nona Lowry; and Mrs. Imogene Newbell, all of Marlon, and a step-grandson.
