Eulayla A. Prewett, 69, of 814 S. Grant Ave., a retired registered nurse, died Friday evening at her home.
She had been a resident of Crawfordsville for eight years. Prior to that time she had lived in South Pasadena, Calif.
She received her nurse training at St. Joseph Nursing School at South Bend.
A native of Noblesville, Miss Prewett was born Aug. 7, 1909, a [daughter] of Ellis H. and Mary M. DeWitt Prewett.
Surviving are five sisters, Iva Holtegel, Pauline Fisher and Frieda Chapman, all of Crawfordsville; Inez Earp of South Pasadena and Marguerite Axline of Indianapolis, and five nieces.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Burkhart Funeral Home with the Frank Little officiating. Burial will be in Crownland Cemetery at Noblesville. Friends may call at the funeral home 3-5 p.m. Sunday.
