Flora Dell Foster was born near Terre Haute Indiana, August 14, 1867 and died at Wichita Hospital, Wichita, Kansas, May 29, 1921, aged 53 years 9 mos. and 15 days. When quite small she moved with her parents to Kansas. At the age of 16 she was converted and united with the Baptist church. She afterward united with The Christian church and was a member of that church at the time of her death.
She was united in marriage to C.G Ruhl August 14 1891. To them were born eight children. Three sons and five daughters. Two having died in infancy, the remaining children were present with their mother at the time of her departure. Beside her husband and the six children just mentioned, she leaves three sister, one brother four grandchildren, other relatives and a large circle of friends and acquaintances to mourn her departure.
Funeral series were held at the home of her brother-in-law Paul Bussard, of Oxford, Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock by Rev. George Watts, after which the body was laid to rest in the Oxford cemetery.
