Scranton-Duane E Scranton,32,formerly of Tonawanda,unexpectedly Monday(May 15,1978) at his residence in San Francisco,Calif.,where he resided for the past 6 years.A native of Tonawanda,he was a member of the Payne Avenue Christian Church in North Tonawnda.He is survived by his parents,Mr and Mrs Howard B Scranton of Tonawanda,his grandmother ,Mrs Carrie Scranton of Chattanooga,Tenn;his grandfather ,Vernon A Channels of North Tonawanda;a sister, Mrs George(Marilyn)Karcher of Tonawanda,two brothers,Ronald H Scranton of Palo Alto,Calif.,and Keith V Scranton of San Franciso and several nieces and nephews.Relatives may call fromn 7-9 this evening at John O Roth Funeral Home,Morgan and Willliam Sts,Tonawanda.Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. The Rev. Robert L Cook will offiificate. Burial at Elmlawn Cemetery. Tonawanda News.
