FISK L GAISER: Boyers; 89, died Wednesday at Orchard Manor-GroveCity after a brief illness. Born 12 Apr 1904 in Ridgeville, A son of EliO & Ina Rumbaugh Gaiser. He attended Goff Public Schools in VenangoTwp. MrGaiser had been employed as head of the maintenance dept for Moniteau School Dist for 10yrs. He was previously employed as head of maintenance for US Steel in Boyers for 33yrs. He was a member of Boyers United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Methodist Men, had served as Sunday School Superintendent for more than 40yrs & was a church trustee for more than 50yrs. He was a life member of MarionTwp Volunteer Fire Dept & also belonged to F&AM Lodge-603-GroveCity & NewCastle Consistory. He had been a baseball player in Boyers & was active in managing the Boyers Little League & junior league teams.
Surviving are a son: BrianL-Boyers; a bro: OJack Gaiser-Chicora; & several nieces & nephews. His wife, Anna Kathryn Saylor Gaiser, whom he married 16 Aug 1928, died 23 Sep 1948. He was also preceded in death by a sis & a bro.
Services will be conducted Sat at Boyers United Methodist Church with RevEverett Hammond officiating. Visitation at Larry McKinley Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Old Annandale Cem.
